Various studies have been conducted to elucidate the mechanism of plasma-assisted substance intake. We focused on orders of lipid molecules in cell membranes. The state of cell membrane varies depending on orders of lipid molecules. There are two types of lipid order: liquid-ordered phase with high lipid density and liquid-disordered phase with low lipid density. Analyzing orders of lipid molecules can provide information on membrane fluidity. Membrane fluidity is important factor to discuss repair processes of cell membranes upon plasma exposure. Here, we use solvatochromic reagent to analyze orders of lipid molecules.
